Will Paucar initially pursued a conventional career in finance but soon felt the need for a change. Driven by a profound instinct and gifted with a receptive sensitivity, he traveled the world, meeting shamans, artists, and naturalists. These experiences opened him to new languages ​​and led him to art as a vocation. His first pictorial gestures began in Milan, continuing in Amsterdam and Paris, culminating in an artist residency at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan. Paucar’s creative process is based on absorbing emotional and sensorial details —of nature, people, sensations—deconstructing, analyzing, and listening to them until he extracts the conceptual essence that will give rise to a new series of works.

His canvases function like chapters of a novel: from the expressionist intensity of the works inspired by the lockdown (2020) to rebirth (2022), up to mystical journeys such as “Transcendence” (2023) and “Anima Mundi” (2024), Paucar moves between chaos and stillness, matter and spirituality, practicing a figurative painting that feeds on expressionism, traces of Byzantine iconography, and minimalism. In more recent years, the pictorial gesture has become more controlled, the colors more restful, the subjects devoid of physiognomy to favor what unites them: the soul, spirituality, the presence beyond identity. He lives and works between Milan, Amsterdam, and Paris, in constant dialogue with space, time, and the invisible vibrations of the world.
