The Origins of the Vision
In 2022, a bold and evocative idea began to form in the minds of a visionary team composed of Clara Bernasco, Elisabetta Viganò, and Riccardo Roggeri: to develop a platform capable of supporting and celebrating female artists and their creations, while promoting inclusivity and gender diversity, with a view to artistic sharing in its entirety.
The right partner, at the right time
The idea became a reality thanks to a collaboration with the charity RIC3D. Together, in March 2023, they officially launched the A4W – Art For Women project.
December 2023 marked a pivotal moment: the launch of the first online Proof-of-Concept (POC). This important milestone allowed the platform to be tested, welcoming the first volunteer artists who contributed their works, experimenting and providing vital feedback to refine the project.
The turning point: recognition and growth
In April 2024, the value and potential of A4W – Art For Women was recognized by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, as part of the “Fondo Impresa Femminile” (Women’s Enterprise Fund) call.
MIMIT’s funding for the original proposing group transformed the project into an independent entity: Art4Women effectively became a company, ready to expand into the national and international art scene, with the development of a website and a Progressive Web App (PWA).

Creative synergies: the cornerstones of A4W – Art For Women
A4W – Art For Women is not just the fruit of a shared vision or dream; it is the tangible result of a synergistic and well-structured collaboration between three dynamic and innovative entities in the technological, artistic and cultural landscape:
- Art4Women : At the heart of the project, Art4Women Srl plays the crucial role of managing e-commerce.
- RIC3D: Specializing in software development, RIC3D is the technological mind behind the A4W – Art For Women project.
- Tuttotondo: Through its commitment to organizing offline events, Tuttotondo builds bridges between the digital world of A4W – Art For Women and the physical world with tangible events that connect artist groups and audiences.
The onboarding of artists and art collectives is entrusted to the benefit companies RIC3D and Tuttotondo, which manage the process of bringing new talent into A4W – Art For Women in a collaborative relationship.
