Galante

I try to awaken a conscious sense of belonging, where responsibility and the best in each person come together to offer comfort and strength.

Biography, Projects, and Available Works

Loredana Galante

Through her art, Loredana Galante creates journeys through emotions, exalting feelings with gentleness and slowness. Her training is broadly multidisciplinary: thanks to a scholarship from the TAM theater, she deepened her studies in dance and acting, which led her to express herself on different levels, even in her artistic production. Today, she works in her studio, To be Kind, an inclusive space that hosts talks and cultural initiatives.

Her works range from delicate pencil lines to performances, through the design of installations, the creation of paintings, up to the creation of experiential workshops.

The aim of her works is, first and foremost, to stop time, allowing for conscious reflection based on listening, inclusion, and memory. Her paintings feature subjects cast in spells, accompanied by notes that force the viewer to frequently shift perspective. Her objects and installations, on the other hand, focus on the ordinarily gentle, the sweetly ordinary —that is, on parts of everyday life that hold memories and inspirations.

She has exhibited in public museums and private galleries in Italy and abroad, including Tokyo, Dubai, Hannover, Strasbourg, Nice, New York, Tehran, Ouagadougou, and Shenzhen. For two years, she has been a member of the Venus in Furs Committee, promoting women’s exhibitions such as Venus and Friends and Venus Little Library.
