The Project: RoadShow
Art4Women’s RoadShow is a creative lab and travelling exhibition touring Italy aboard an electric cargo van. Art, sustainable mobility and local communities as drivers of collective change.
Every stop is an event: a temporary space where artworks meet the public, where artists enter into dialogue with communities, and where businesses can become part of something genuinely innovative.

Cross. Connect. Transform.
The RoadShow’s curatorial theme explores movement as an artistic and social act. Art that doesn’t stand still — that travels, encounters places and people. Stop by stop, the RoadShow builds bridges between creativity and community, between business and culture, between vision and concrete transformation.
The van as manifesto and collective artwork
To choose the visual project that would turn the electric van into the RoadShow’s travelling manifesto, Art4Women launched an open call for artists within its community. Three works were selected by the jury, each capable of speaking to the widest range of audiences in Italian piazzas:
Caterina Ardizzon, Mi sono fatta spazio: a public declaration of female self-determination, featuring figures claiming spaces and dimensions historically denied to them.
Serena Gianoli, Corpi in transito: bodies that cross, fragment and reassemble — a visual translation of collaborative networks and fluid contemporary identities.
Aria Carelli, L’Incontro: art that moves towards the passerby, turning every street into an open-air gallery.
The production and application of the wrapping are managed by Art4Women. Each selected artist receives fair compensation, as set out in the call.
The launch — Milano Art Week 2026
Art4Women’s RoadShow was officially launched at Milano Art Week 2026, on 17 April 2026, at the Techinnova incubator in Via Giovanni Durando 38, Milan. A day open to the public — from 11am to 7pm, free entry — during which the project came to life before visitors, artists, businesses and cultural professionals.
The event marked the official departure of the RoadShow: the first stop of a journey that will bring art, workshops and dialogue to cities across Italy, aboard an electric cargo van transformed into a travelling work of art.
