On July 4th, we inaugurated the first stop of the Art4Women RoadShow, our new traveling exhibition project designed to connect contemporary art, local communities, institutions, and cultural stakeholders through shared experiences and meaningful collaborations.

The RoadShow is more than an exhibition format: it is a platform to activate dialogue between artists and territories, demonstrating how culture can become a true catalyst for social impact, participation, and local development.

Capo d’Orlando was the perfect setting for this first chapter. The city hosted the solo exhibition of Eleonora Gugliotta, curated by Elena Vukosavljevic for Art4Women, alongside the Project Room, a collective space bringing together works by Virginia Gerri, Mara Bonofiglio, Chiara Fronterrè, Oriana Labruna, Marta Tessaroli, EMPAT e Sveva Ambrosoli.

Seven different artistic practices, one shared question: What Remains? What is left, when everything else dissolves? A collective reflection that crossed languages, generations, and sensibilities, opening new conversations between the artistic practices on display.

The exhibition will be open to visitors until July 31st, an opportunity for anyone in the area to discover up close a project that brings together artistic research and connection to the territory.

This first stage would not have been possible without the support and collaboration of the Municipality of Capo d’Orlando, the Councillor for Culture, and LOC – Laboratorio Orlando Contemporaneo, whose openness and commitment demonstrate how important it is to invest in culture as a driver of territorial growth and social cohesion.

A sincere thank you also goes to Eleonora Gugliotta and all the participating artists, whose generosity, research, and vision transformed this first stop into a shared and memorable experience.

This is only the beginning.

The Art4Women RoadShow will continue to reach new cities, building new partnerships and new opportunities where art becomes a bridge between people, places, institutions, and innovation.
