The Project: Art Retreat
The Art4Women Art Retreat is an immersive one-week experience on Lake Como, designed for a small, carefully selected group of international art enthusiasts.
Each day weaves together workshops and labs led by artists from the community in stunning historic villas, exclusive performances, and visits to museums and artists’ studios—alongside the opportunity to experience the region authentically: the beauty of the lake, the cuisine, the wine, as well as design and fashion in Milan.
More than a trip, it is an opportunity for a deep encounter with contemporary creativity, Italian culture, and people who share the same curiosity about the world.
Three dimensions. A unique experience
The Art Retreat is built around three interwoven dimensions—each essential, each enriching the others
Artistic Depth
Workshops and labs led by artists from the Art4Women community, hosted in historic villas reserved for the group. Private access to artists’ studios and museums, where art history and contemporary practice meet.
Lived Culture
Historic lakeside villas, wine tastings and Italian cuisine, gastronomic masterclasses, and a private cruise. Milan: fashion, design, and the Brera district.
Community
The international Art4Women network: artists, collectors, and art lovers united by a shared sensibility. An intentionally intimate group. Connections that last far beyond a single week.
Every moment of the week is designed to leave a lasting impression:
- Artistic workshops in historic villas with artists from the Art4Women community
- Private visits to museums and artists’ studios, inaccessible to the general public
- A private cruise on Lake Como with an aperitivo, heading toward Bellagio at sunset
- A day in Milan: Montenapoleone, the Brera district, and an artist’s studio
- Italian cooking masterclasses and dinners in some of the region’s most iconic restaurants
- Tastings of selected Italian wines, thoughtfully paired with the places and stories of the territory
