Mara
Bonofiglio
Being an artist has been ingrained in my soul since the very beginning. I’ve always been fascinated by color, prints, fabrics, elegance, nature, beauty, and majesty.
Mara Bonofiglio
Mara Bonofiglio is an Italian visual artist whose paintings explore the profound connection between humans, nature, and universal consciousness. Through a vibrant and symbolic figurative language, she fuses color, light, and matter into a narrative that celebrates the sacred beauty of the natural world and its regenerative power.
Born in Turin in 1983, she trained at the Art Institute of her hometown and at the IED in Milan, specializing in styling and photography. She then worked between Milan and London with fashion houses such as Etro and Burberry. Her experience in fashion design honed her chromatic and compositional sensibilities, while her subsequent training at Central Saint Martins and her study of metaphysics and energetic techniques led her to visualize art as an evolutionary and therapeutic tool.
Her paintings, instinctive and material, combine Art Nouveau, Fauve, psychedelic, and urban art influences in a personal and recognizable language, where each element vibrates as part of a single cosmic harmony.
Today she lives between Italy and Indonesia, inspired by Mediterranean colors and tropical nature, and through her works she invites us on an inner journey of awareness and rebirth. For Mara Bonofiglio, art not only decorates but also heals, transforms, and awakens, becoming an act of love towards the Earth and the evolution of being.
