Julio Hernández is an artist involved in the Environmental Art movement, combining creative expression with a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental activism. His art not only celebrates the richness of the Amazon’s biodiversity but also promotes a message of awareness and social change, addressing crucial issues such as environmental protection and the defense of indigenous peoples’ rights.

His work has been recognized internationally, with awards and honors from prestigious institutions such as the United Nations Environment Programme, the Climate Museum, the Rockefeller Center in New York, and the Valencian Museum of Illustration and Modernity. These accolades testify to the positive impact Julio’s art has had on raising public awareness of ecological and climate issues.

In addition to his artistic career, Julio Hernandez is also a certified social innovator. He was awarded the title of Young Leader of the Americas through the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative, a program that promotes young social entrepreneurs. He has also been recognized by the Western Union Foundation for his commitment to social innovation and the creation of projects that promote a more sustainable and inclusive future.
