Biography, Projects, and Available Works

Diletta Ferretti

Diletta Ferretti develops a personal aesthetic sensibility that combines hyperrealism and material experimentation through a dry pastel technique.

After beginning his creative training at art school, the artist discovered a deep passion for dry pastel while attending Felicita Fiorini’s school. She studied this technique with renowned masters such as Ruben Belloso Adorna and Fabio Cuffari, building an artistic language that combines technical rigor and expressive research.

Diletta Ferretti’s works stand out for their strong technical and emotional impact, combining hyperrealism and experimental interventions on the pictorial material. Her mastery of the dry pastel technique allows her to explore the expressive possibilities of the medium with a unique sensibility.

In 2023, she began a career rich in awards: in 2025, she was ranked among the top ten finalists for the Marchionni Prize, with a traveling exhibition at Cà la Ghironda (Bologna), where she presented the work “Hela,” and received second prize in the Castelbuono Cuore d’Artista competition. In November of the same year, she achieved an important milestone with second place in the painting category at the Festival dell’Immagine in Martina Franca (Taranto), consolidating the recognition of her artistic career.
