Aura Nuccio is the CEO and founder of SnikeyLab, an artistic project dedicated to customizing leather and fabric sneakers. Her work is born from the intersection of pop culture, video games, cinema, and cosplay, resulting in footwear with a colorful, cartoonish aesthetic, where each pair tells a unique story.

SnikeyLab was born from the desire to transform sneakers —a ubiquitous contemporary object— into wearable works of art. Each creation defies the logic of disposable consumption, offering instead a durable, personalized product, free from the dynamics of fleeting trends. Sneakers thus become an extension of the wearer’s identity, original pieces that express their personality.

The creative process is deeply collaborative: Aura works closely with each client to develop a bespoke concept, which is approved through a sketch before the final creation. Each pair is painted entirely by hand, with great attention to detail, and receives a personalized name and serial number certifying their uniqueness.

SnikeyLab creations are unique commissioned works, where craftsmanship and artistic vision merge to give life to footwear that goes beyond fashion, becoming authentic statements of personal style.
