COMPETITIVE CREATIVE CONTEST: “DIGITAL INNOVATION AND IMMERSIVE SIMULATION”

RIC3D Srl, an innovative SME operating in the Med-Tech sector, is launching a competitive creative contest aimed at digital artists, designers, illustrators, and visual creatives of all ages.

The contest is co-created and promoted by Art4Women and AcadLink, two organizations jointly committed to promoting emerging talent and integrating creativity and technological innovation. The initiative is aimed not only at independent digital artists and creatives, but also at professionals in the visual and multimedia sectors, universities, fine arts academies, design and media art programs, as well as anyone working in related fields who wishes to engage with contemporary visual languages ​​applied to high-tech contexts.

The aim is to promote the ROG – Real Organ Generation platform, an advanced tool for immersive surgical simulation, through the creation of visual works capable of interpreting and enhancing the relationship between:

“Digital innovation, virtual reality, and new forms of medical-scientific communication.”

Contest duration

From March 24, 2025 to May 5, 2025

How to Participate

1. Join the community.

2. Submit your application by expressing your interest via email (to comunicazione@art4women.com ) with the subject: “Interest in the Digital Innovation and Immersive Simulation contest.”

3. The contest will be activated once at least 10 applications are received. 

If the number of applicants is lower, the contest will be postponed to October 2025. All applicants will automatically be considered for the new date.

Requirements for Artwork Submission

The works must be digital, original and unpublished, created with techniques ranging from 2D/3D graphics to digital illustration, up to forms of visual concept design and video animation consistent with the themes of the contest.

Each participant may submit a maximum of 2 digital works, each accompanied by a brief conceptual description (max 500 characters).

The following formats are accepted:

  • For static works: .JPG, .PNG, .TIFF (minimum resolution: 300 DPI)
  • For animated or interactive works: .MP4 or .MOV (maximum duration: 60 seconds – recommended resolution: Full HD)

Maximum single file size: 80 MB.

Content generated solely by generative AI tools without human intervention is not permitted.

Selection and Awards

All applications received will be evaluated by a technical-creative committee composed of professionals from the medical, technological, scientific, and visual sectors, with proven experience in digital communications and innovation.

The jury will select the 3 finalist pieces that stand out for their consistency with the contest theme, originality, visual impact, and conceptual quality.

Promotional Platforms – The finalist works will be promoted through the official channels of RIC3D, Art4Women, and AcadLink, and may be included in future outreach activities, exhibition events, and communication campaigns related to the ROG – Real Organ Generation platform.

Grand Prize – The contest winner will receive a prize of €1,500 in recognition of their original digital work, which may be included in official communications and visual materials for the ROG platform.

Additionally, the selected finalists will have access to a dedicated professional support program, including:

  • Personalized mentorship, provided by the RIC3D team and partners
  • Creative and technical tutoring services
  • Tools and resources to further enhance and finalize your work, with the possibility of transforming the work into interactive content or part of future immersive experiences.
Aim of the Contest

This initiative was born with the aim of stimulating creative and visual production in response to the major digital transformations in the world of medicine and education. The contest aims to offer professionals, students, and creatives the opportunity to engage with the languages ​​of innovation, immersive simulation, and virtual reality, interpreting the role of technology in medical and scientific communication from an artistic and communicative perspective.

Through the ROG – Real Organ Generation platform, RIC3D invites participants to imagine new forms of visual expression capable of describing the future of medicine and digital surgical training, enhancing the interaction between art, science, and technological intelligence.
