Description
Blurred Edges is a large-format oil and tempera on canvas (150 × 150 × 2 cm) created by Sveva Ambrosoli in 2026. Unique work, signed by the artist.
A female figure lies stretched out, her profile gazing toward something we cannot see. Everything is blue – the body, the hair, the surrounding air – yet there is no sense of coldness. A thin copper-colored outline wraps around each line of the figure like a restrained flame, an edge that burns without consuming.
Blurred Edges – edges that fade, boundaries that dissolve – is the title Sveva Ambrosoli chooses to describe that undefined zone where the self ends and the world begins. The copper outline does not merge with the background, which shifts between layers of deep blue and warm, earthy streaks.
The unique work, signed by the artist, invites silence, rest, and introspection.
