Description
Robin is part of a series of portraits freely inspired by “The Falls,” a book by Peter Greenaway that collects 92 fictional biographies of victims of Unidentified Violent Events, all connected to birds and flight. Life after a U.V.E. is marked by mysterious physical, metabolic, mental, and linguistic mutations. Through the convex surface of the eye, we watch these figures take on new traits. Robin becomes frugivorous, suffers from neuralgia, and sleeps for most of the day. She often plays by the seashore with her sister Berdie and a red chair.
