Unique work from 2025 by Matteo Galvano made in acrylic on canvas (30×30 cm), in which the artist paints one of his typical contemporary architectures.

Description

An urban sunset lights up the canvas in an explosion of red, orange, and yellow, enveloping architectural fragments suspended in space. In HISTORITRA 861, Matteo Galvano constructs a landscape of the soul where the geometry of the building structures—balconies, railings, windows—emerges from a warm, enveloping chromatic haze.

The square composition unfolds through overlapping, precise black lines that delineate recognizable architectural elements: a staircase, an Art Deco railing, and building silhouettes. But these geometric fragments do not form a solid architecture; rather, they float in an atmospheric space dominated by color. Warm hues—from intense red to sunny yellow—overlap, creating depth, while sketches and free-form lines add dynamism and movement.

It is architAMORphosis seen through the filter of light: the city is no longer a map seen from above, but an emotional experience, a chromatic sensation. Like when the setting sun ignites the facades of buildings and urban structures transform into poetic silhouettes, HISTORITRA 861 captures that moment when architecture becomes pure visual emotion, where the journey through the city becomes an interior journey.
