Description
An urban architecture comes to life in a burst of color and texture. In GEISOUX 914880, Matteo Galvano constructs a layered vision where the geometric structure of a building—punctuated by windows, balconies, and horizontal levels—becomes the stage for a controlled explosion of color. Shocking pink, acid yellow, emerald green, and deep black intertwine across the surface, creating a vibrant urban landscape.
The lower part of the work reveals a precise architectural façade, with openings that follow one another rhythmically, like an apartment building seen from below. But this geometry is traversed, invaded, and enlivened by the drips of color that fall from above like luminous rain. The black grid overlaps in some places, creating texture and depth, while splashes and drops of color dance freely across the white space of the paper.
It is architAMORfosi taken to its maximum dynamism: the city is no longer just a structure but a living organism, pulsating with energy and movement. The cryptic title suggests coordinates, urban codes, mental maps of a metropolis that Galvano observes, traverses, and reinvents. A work that captures the chaotic and poetic essence of contemporary urban life, where order and chaos coexist in perfect balance.
