Description
Welcome Back portrays Saint Nicholas of Bari on a 24×30 cm canvas painted with acrylics on the patron saint’s feast day, December 6th. It was created to commemorate the saint, beloved for his familiarity and versatility, who is depicted here against a starry night sky to evoke the light he brings with his blessing. Inspired by sacred images that I have subsequently revisited.
