Description
La Pupazza constructs a game of metamorphosis between liquid and solid forms, immersed in a surreal and psychedelic universe. From the Magic Glass, a tilted transparent chalice, a jet of water flows composed of a goldfish and a diamond, elements that transform into each other, changing shape and consistency. The logic of gravity is overturned: the liquid flows upward and sideways, assuming impossible trajectories and unusual angles. The fish features the characteristic eye with long black lashes, a recurring feature in the artist’s graffiti.
The creative space in which the subjects move is defined by the absence of a realistic background: the artist deliberately chooses an empty environment, devoid of references, in front of which she places figures in bright colors, blue and red.
The painting is a continuous reference to dynamism, to a world in constant movement and evolution, full of energy and surprises.
