Description
In Vuoti ingombranti, Angela Bello explores the empty spaces of a bus as a space for reflection. The solitude of the empty space is filled by an interior, emotional presence.
The scene unfolds entirely in shades of blue, creating a suspended and melancholic atmosphere. The floor of the bus dominates the composition, occupied by a single standing figure: an anonymous man, only partially visible. Two empty seats occupy the pictorial space with a paradoxical presence: the absence of subjects becomes cumbersome, the emptiness suffocating.
The creative process balances the meticulous control of the lights with the management of the autonomous corrosion process, creating a compositional balance that reveals new levels of reflection.
