Description
Alessandro Passerini’s work stems from a slow and profound gaze. His photography doesn’t simply depict the landscape, but traverses it, rendering it as a fragment of visual consciousness, where light, time, and silence become central narrative elements. His images seem to think like a mountain: seemingly immobile, yet dense with stratification and presence. Each shot is the result of an intimate relationship with the place, free from spectacularization and guided by a conscious expectation.
An internationally recognized artist, Passerini is promoted by Saatchi Art (London) and has participated in major exhibitions, including Food: Our Global Kitchen curated by National Geographic, Fotografia Europea, and the Triennale di Fotografia Italiana during the Venice Biennale. His work has been published in international magazines such as National Geographic, Vogue, Condé Nast Traveller, and Digital Camera, and is present in private collections and exhibition spaces in Europe, the United States, and Canada, as well as in international hospitality settings.
