Winning Work of the “Sharing Art – Solid Identity – Art in Armenia 2020” Selection, valid for participation in the Yerevan Biennial (Armenia).
Drawing on the second chapter of the Book of Wisdom, the Archangel Michael throws himself upon the chimerical creature, a symbol of human greed. Not yet fully physically imbued with immanence and contempt for the righteous, the wicked are given a final chance at redemption, under the sword of St. Michael. The Archangel’s halo reads, “Who is like God?” What will the wicked choose?
