We are happy to announce that the artist Spartacus is the winner of the Competitive Art Contest promoted by Art4Women, dedicated to the theme “Innovation, Computers, and Social Values” .

The initiative was sponsored by MTM Srl, a technology company with headquarters in Milan, known for its attention not only to innovation, but also to the social and ethical implications of its products and services.

A message of eco-circularity

Spartacus’s work stands out for its powerful visual message and innovative use of materials.

Made with hemp hurd, the woody internal part of the hemp stem – usually considered an agricultural by-product – the work takes on strong symbolic and environmental value.

The material used comes directly from processing waste of a patented compound, developed for road paving by Greennovations Srl, a leading startup in sustainable innovation for construction and the environment.

The meaning of the green island

The subject of the work is a green island, a symbol of an innovation that sprouts in a fertile and protected space yet still isolated from the complexity of the world around it.

Through this image, Spartacus invites us to reflect on the limits of progress, underlining the importance of integrating technological development, environmental respect, and social responsibility.

A synergy between art, technology, and values

With this work, Spartacus fully interprets the spirit of the contest and the values shared by Art4WomenMTM, and Greennovations: combining art, technology, and environmental awareness to build a more equitable and sustainable future.
